The thing is I have been told I cannot take this seat because they are downgrading at least six people from business and they will be placed there. Economy is also overbooked. So the question is: do they compensate those people they are moving with something more than a stretched seat with more legroom?

Thanks!
EK are pretty good when downgrading. The usually offer a return J flight for free on the original route - or at least they used to.
