It certainly has on the couple of times I've booked with an agent - you may have to ask for the PNR, or if your Skywards Number is input at the booking stage you should be able to track it down that way.
If any changes are required before you fly, you'll have to deal with the agent, not EK. This can cause problems, as can potentially more stringent Ts and Cs.
