Update, a week from the meeting:

- 3,000 demonstrators have already arrived. Many of them have pitched tents in the woods (on my usual cycling route ) and in city parks. Many more expected.
- all McDonald's in town have closed. One particularly exposed one has been fully dismantled.
- all baseball bats in Geneva are sold out, hopefully purchased for self-defense by residents, and not by hooligans.


I have enough food and water to last two weeks. The salads in the vegetable garden should be ripe soon
