I was dropped off at TBIT, but because there are no AA ticket agents, I had to make my way to Terminal 4 to check in and then walk back to TBIT. Unfortunately, there is no TSA pre-check in TBIT.
Things have changed for the better since December. As of 2/25/16, the two terminals are connected airside. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk over to TBIT after using PreCheck in T4.
