Can anyone tell me if it's possible to redeem miles on an EK flight but with a connection (EK codeshare)?

I'm looking to book from DXB to MAN or BHX with an onward UK domestic connection on Flybe (EK code). I can do this easily on the website if paying by cash, but the option to use miles disappears. I can also see that there is availability on the MAN and BHX flights I am interested in if I search for those alone, but I'd prefer to have the connecting flights on the same ticket.
