With all the discussion about the possible loss of the "loophole" here recently....has anyone considered that just possibly, someone in the employ of Citi has read this (and similar threads) and implemented these changes we are seeing? Additionally, it is always an unwritten rule to NOT CALL, or ask the "merchant" about these kinds of deals.
If the churning opportunities on this are in fact over, then we all need to just be happy with what we got, and move on. I'm sure more opportunities will be found.
That's not to say that more data points aren't appreciated...just that it does seem like it is looking bleak.
