Weather here will be fine.
Touring:
Not far from you is another nice drive, called Sudelfeldstrasse (starts at Brannenburg near the Wendelstein train 47°43'22.9"N 12°05'33.0"E Google Maps) which can be extended to a nice round tour bringing you back to Bad Aibling. (Just a hint:Like the other recommended drive for Panoramastrasse, http://www.rossfeldpanoramastrasse.de/en/ be aware of the motorbikes...they drive like lunatics, allthough speed limits are enforced..and both roads are private so toll fee has to be paid)
So once you start on the Sudelfeldstrasse, continue on this "B307" and pass Bayrischzell, follow the road for about 7km and when you see a sign turning left to Spitzingsee, go for it. Nice walk arround it. Nice cakes.
Then go back on B307, turn left onto it an follow the road towards Schliersee. Just before you come to the village, you pass one of the best German Whisky destilleries SLYRS http://www.slyrs.de/en/html/slyrs_home.html on the right, in case you wanna get a present for your hubby from the tour...
Then continue and pass the Schliersee or stop there again and follow the B472 which will bring you back towards Bad Aibling

As for hiking..
top of the mountains is difficult due to snow, but worth it.
I would take the cog railroad up to Wendelstein http://www.wendelsteinbahn.de/anreise or the cable car on the Kampenwand http://www.kampenwand.de (both websites german only, but use google translater) , enjoy the fantastic view, walk arround or sit in the sun, have a coffee or something nice to eat. Walking down to the valley is currently not possible, so you gotta go back the same way..cable car / cog train.

In Bad Aibling there is a nice and inexpensive thermal bath/spa http://www.therme-bad-aibling.de/en/ , with many saunas and pools and beauty treatment, in case you wanna relax.

Also about 10min drive from the center there is a fantastic beer garden from the Maxlrain brewery http://www.maxlrain.de/en/maxlrain/s...-bite-and-more.
I think you might be lucky with the weather and be able to sit there an have a nice beer with your hubby and enjoy Bavarian "Gemütlichkeit" while looking towards the Alps.
Rosenheim was already mentioned, nice and old town, typical Bavarian..
In case you are into good shoes, there is a factory outlet from a famous German brand Gabor http://www.gabor.de/en/company/gabor...y-outlets.html

Driving to and arround the Chiemsee and going over for the already mentioned Herrenchiemsee castle is defintely worth it.
Munich...
well lots to see..
again, go for the beer gardens, since the weather will be fine...take a walk through the Englischer Garten, the big park in Munich and watch the surfers on the little river called Eisbach
as for food..
I would recommend some typical Bratwurst place called www.bratwurst-gloeckl.de on Frauenstrasse 9, near the "Dome"
