You do not mention it, but how many are traveling with you on this trip?

But make sure to spend sometime in the travel with children forum, lots of good tips and tricks there.
I know we here at FT tend to be sensitive to these sort of things.. but I read the OP's comment as he's hoping some of the E- flyers will pay into E+ and thereby him+family finding an extra seat next to them in E-. Just my supposition on how I read it
