If you hit your spend milestone after 11th April you can forget about getting the bonus. However if you reach your spend milestone before the cut off date there is every good chance that SBI will honour the bonus points. You may have to fight it though. Not sure how their IT systems have been configured.
Recently it took me almost a month and several phone calls, emails and tweets to convince SBI that the reward expiry system was flawed. After weeks of follow up they acknowledged the issue and have promised a fix.

OK, To answer my own question, I completed my 3 lacs spend and 20k bonus points posted to my account mid-statement.
Now my target will be to reach 5 lacs before Aprill 11th, hope another 20k bonus points get posted.
@manish83, I do not know why someone would have to fight it out on reaching 5L post 11 April as 20K bonus is mentioned in black & white on reaching 5L even after changes!
