I am a smoker, I use a spray called Ozium Air Sanitizer, works really well, I buy it at Walmart, not cheap, like $9.00 a can. I also user cabin filters with baking soda in them. While I don't rent cars often, I can relate with non-smokers and I do not smoke in the rentals.
