Iteresting thead. I must be doing pretty good. Many of the desired amenities are thigns I get at the hotel I stay at in Los Angeles.

Ironing board and iron (really, can't recall the last time I stayed in a hotel that didn't have thise)

a small, second TV near the desk, with a VCR (people still watch stuff on tape)
power plug at desk level
CD Clock radio. Instructions *are* included in the room guide
turn down service, with bottle of water (I love turn down service, and miss it at hotels that don't do it)
24 hour room service.

Their property in D.C also had the TV sound in the bathroom, votive candles in the bathroom, slippers, and shoe horn.
