Ditto to all the requests for accessable electrical outlets. Most hotels were built long before we all started traveling with so many toys to plug in.

I've found multiple uses for the shower caps, but never use in the shower.

Not sure if it would be considered an amenity, but when in a strange city, it is often difficult to determine your "local" calling area from the info in the phone book. It would be nice for the hotel to provide the prefixes considered "local" in the phone section of the guest book (I use AOL and it can be a shock to find out you have a big long distance bill for what you thought was a local call).
