Obviously, each individual will place a different value on the amenities that are found in a hotel room. Why can't frequent stay programs store each individual's preferences in their profile so that upon their next visit, the hotel room can be stocked as per the preferences of the individual? .... Actually, Wyndham does some of that with their Wyndham By Request. You fill out a questionnaire as to what your peference is (F/Q/K bed, non-allergenic pillows, etc.) and also ask what sort of welcome package you'd like -- cookies, soda, water, beer/wine, etc.
Not a bad deal.
