free (fast, ethernet-cable or wireless) Internet-access in the room (like, to my surprise, I did find this nov/dec at SFO Hampton Inn and Hilton Garden Inn) - while other hotels, like the SFO airport Marriott ($9.95/24hrs) and the SOF airport Westin ($15/24hrs) still ask a lot of money per 24 hours access.
