Next time try to book flight on Jetstar from Singapore to Philippines. They also check if card is issued on the name of person who holds the ticket.

P.S. Philippines is the major supplyer of maids for Singapore, Hong Kong and other countries in the region. So local budget airlines have this policy after several cases when maids stole jewelry and/or other stuff from their employers and left the country on flights bought with the stolen credit cards.
