I didn't receive the 3X in the past with my Hyatt purchases.

I'll clarify that I bought my points from a points plus cash purchase so that for sure earns the 5x. I will have to try the points.com and see. I am waiting on a 100% bonus for the IHG points before buying tho. So maybe those won't but if you do a points plus cash and use the IHG card, it does in fact trigger the ihg 5x bonus.
