The one time I've flown out of ATL (a Tuesday afternoon), the precheck line at the North security checkpoint was quite long (more than ten minutes to clear).
Just went through ATL a week or two ago...even while I was down there the local new stations were reporting about the incredibly long waits at security.
I had a crack-o-dawn flight, so time to drop of my bag at the AA counter to Admirals Club was about ~6-7 minutes. The non-Precheck line was already starting to snake pretty long, even at 6:45am.
