The one time I've flown out of ATL (a Tuesday afternoon), the precheck line at the North security checkpoint was quite long (more than ten minutes to clear). After security, I was right at the LAA gates at the T concourse; it took about ten minutes to get from there to my LUS flight out of the D concourse, using the train. (I walk fast, but there wasn't much walking; it was mostly on escalators clogged with standees and the train.) In total, it was about 25 minutes from the AA ticket counter to the LUS/AA gates in the D concourse.
