Going from memory -- Platinums used to get certificates after every third stay that could be redeemed for an upgrade to Regency Club floor, drink/snack, 1000 points or something to do with dining (I forget what). This was discontinued in December 2012 so the Gold Passport team could "focus [their] time, attention and resources on improving the program in new and innovative ways rather than administering a benefit that members don’t value".
