In short, it was meh. It was cooked fine, but it still had a strange taste to it (almost slightly fishy). The green beans were fantastic, but that's about it. I couldn't wait to get the sundae to get the taste out of my mouth.
I always get diner's remorse when I order airplane beef, but still order it from time to time when it's prepared differently to see if I like it better, and I don't.
The almond chicken is delicious and I order it whenever it's featured. I have it selected for my next LHR flight.
Got it. Thanks. I've had about the same experience with airplane beef, but like you, always wonder if maybe they've figured something out. Sounds like chicken it is. Hate to miss out on the truffled mac & cheese, but it sounds like the chicken is definitely worth trying.
