I don't live on the coast, I live in the Galilee mountains and, yes, we get snow here about once a year. This time was unusual because it snowed for two straight days.

For two short periods in my life I lived upstate New York -- once near Buffalo and once in Port Jervis, so I will confess to a passing acquaintance with the stuff.
