I have no problem with people taking their kids to nice restaurants, I do it myself, sometimes. But it doesn't make me a better parent than those who don't. I didn't eat at a restaurant with waiters until I was 17. My parents couldn't afford a nice meal more than once a year or so, and then only for themselves.

I turned out fine. Learning to order, pay and tip isn't rocket science. I figured it out.
