This was exactly my point, and stated clearly it does not hammer the website, and is in fact slower than a human. I'd venture to say that just about everyone on these boards has "monitored" aa for flight changes, availability, seats (and for that matter, using expertflyer to "monitor" could fall into the same category).

I guess because people want to complain I won't post the code, but for anyone who is interested, it is extremely simple. Download the free trial of Imacros, script the macro then use it in firebox. i'm more than happy to offer general advice about the scripting if anyone needs it. And i'm sure with other people utilizing it who knows maybe something great will come of it.
