I was turned down for a SW Premier too many accounts opened with Chase but I called in just now and was approved.
He wouldn't ( no big deal to me) shift any personal credit as I asked for that first as I figured it was the issue as I was approved for a $28K Sw Premier Personal that I received and activated today
He closed my Marriott card and shifted the $5K to my new SW Premier Business.
Rep couldn't have been nicer, I have business cards open and there were no questions asked about the business itself.
Companion Pass for 2018 ( wife has 2017) is basically a done deal
I plan on lowering the $28K limit to $10 K today and trying for one more card ( Hyatt) in about 30 days, hopefully before the 5/24 on co brands
Yes. It was possible 2 years ago. In fact Chase moved 5K from my Freedom to open my Ink Plus with an additional 5K from Freedom, totally behind the scene. I only learned about it with a letter from Chase. And vice versa from Ink Cash to open a BA card before that.
However in recent months, the practice is no move of CL between personal and business in either direction.
BTW. good outcome on recon. Seems Chase has softened a bit in recent weeks. (denying too many applicants? and falling short of its projected target of growth?)
