Southwest's choice of the name "Business Select" for this offering was criticized here on FT at the time as being deceptive to new customers.

That said, the price increment over Anytime fare is small. The price increment over non-refundable (but reusable) WannaGetAway fare can be large. If you don't need full refundability then Business Select is usually a waste of money.

Oh, and the drink coupon should print with your boarding pass. If you don't retain that coupon you don't get the prepaid drink.

I recommend writing a snail letter to Customer Relations politely explaining that you feel misled and requesting an adjustment, either as a partial refund or as a travel credit, based on the WannaGetAway fare that you erroneously passed up. Please report your results here.
