^ Ya think? After all, if someone is fairly new to FT, and accessing it thru their cell, the wiki doesn't even show up. And as I've said on multiple threads before, it's often as quick and easy to just post a simple answer as it is to reply with snark and wiki shaming. And that's certainly more useful.
Not to mention, in some cases, one may have read the wiki several times, and not know that a new data point has been added to it recently. I know I don't spend the time to re-read a lengthy wiki every time I check a thread for new posts. I guess I should check it before asking a question, but honestly, for a thread I've been following for a long time, that doesn't even occur to me. I know, my bad.....
