The link sdsearch provided was an interesting read, but didn't provide the answer.
So, I called in to Citi tech support. After over two hours on the phone, we finally have my AA account linked to my Citi DC login, but still can't link my wife's AA account to my Citi DC login. They say IT CAN BE done, and there is some kind of back office error. They will have it fixed and call me. Here's hoping!
FYI, all names must be EXACTLY the same on all accounts. Example: Can't use Rob on one and Robert on another...
I had a problem linking my latest platinum to my account. I tried adding/linking it when I was logged in, and kept getting the error message. I was finally able to do it by logging out and going through the motions of setting up a new user ID. Then it asked me if I wanted to use one of my other IDs. I selected the one I tried to link it to in the first place and it worked. Maybe this will help.
