Suggest you recalibrate your expectations of UA or pick another carrier if you want this kind of service.
Consider my expectations adequately tempered after years of flying UA. I was more curious if folks have gotten traction doing so and whether it was worth picking up my pen.
Not expecting to keep the GPU but more like an acknowledgment of the mistake and some gesture for the inconvenience.
