I flew J from Africa to HKG via DOH.
The first sector was on Qatar A320 (2-2 configuration). The seat was uncomfortable, not to mention the unhappy crew. Its J class was just comparable to CX's PE. The couple in front of me recline their seats, and it's difficult for me (on a window seat) to get out to the aisle. The chosen entrée and dessert were all unavailable...!
For the CX sector to HKG, the bed was soooo comfortable. Pleasant crew who greeted everyone with Kung Hei Fat Choi! Cannot say the food (chose chicken for the main course) is the best, but I do think it's tasty enough as compared to the lamb biryani on QR...
I will miss CX for this route...
