Luckily, I have a wife.
Yeah, I had my Citi accounts closed in the infamous Black Friday massacre in 2013 and am still banned from Citi. I was not doing "crazy" amounts of MS; pretty much just playing by their rules, spending below my monthly credit limit. My wife was not shut down.
With the consolidation of the airline industry and the increasing crackdown on multiple sign-up bonuses, it's definitely an annoyance not to be able to get Citi credit cards. Not sure if there's anything I can do about it, though, or when the ban might end.
