Unfortunately, this appears to be accurate (in regards to the Hyatt card anniversary free nights). They got a computer system "upgrade" in December, and they no longer have the ability to extend the free night certificate in any way, or convert it to points. I talked to a couple CSRs, who both gave the same report.
