I'm a big fan of the Dreamliner, but if UA is going to fly their 787-9 using the current BF seat, then IDK. Hopefully there is a replacement of BF seats with all aisle access accompanying this. Because ouch even in BF my back will be hurting. OUCH!
On a flight that long BF would become uncomfortable, but coach will be a real killer.

I'm also sad to see NRT losses its presence as a United "hub". Now it is like a destination only. I remember doing NRT-PEK and NRT-SEA in the past. What a fond memory it was!
Now in my 60's it is hard to do even a 12 hour flight and have a product following day. NRT was great for 20-24 hour rest stop to break up a 24 to 36 hour continuous trip.
