We are booked for this weekend. Made reservations 9 month ago, HH Gold.
Today, offered on line check in.....Asked me to approve room they selected for me.
We booked Ocean View, Alli'i tower, and I specfically added, "away from elevators".
The room, they seem to have assigned us, is directly in front of the elevators!!!
Called Honors reservation desk, as was told" DO NOT DO ONLINE CHECK IN"
They want to see if you will accept a choice many do not want.
Wait until you check in tomorrow and ask for the room you want.
I have not faith in this approach....fully expect to be told" this is the only choice and nothing else is available."( Hotel speak for we don't care what you want.) Will report results post visit.
