What ended up happening is the 8k MO cleared sometime during the day on 1/12, after the 2k and 8k were sent by WF. Looking at the activity on my account theres no hint of the delay, so according to TD online there were sufficent funds. Additionly, and here's where I may squeak by, WF is claiming the 8k had NSF, however the letter in my account from TD shows the 8k was paid, and the 2k was NSF. That being said it does say "OD-Paid", so not sure how that might impact what I can get TD to put in the letter.
TD did send the money to WF. They show that the check was sent and cleared. the 2k one was just OD and paid.
I'm hoping since WF had the issue on the 8k, TD banker can say the 8k had sufficent funds.
Im more than happy to clarify more.
Update:
Went to TD branch today and banker reported that they never sent any NSF info to WF. the 8k check did clear, and while i did not have funds for the 2k, they paid it anyway since my average balance is usually enough to cover it, and they had another 8k in pending deposits. They did hit me with OD fees, but the check was NOT bounced, so he had no idea why WF was showing that.
