But still flying AA transcon would get me points than flying CX transpac which still wouldn't make sense, but I guess mine win their loss.

HKG-SFO: 125 TPs and HKG-JFK: 140 TPs are both OWs.

I cannot see that AA transcon can get more points than CX transpac. Can you give an example?
