No, iPhone does have a record of past trips and I discovered this later, but was rushed, tired and in a busy crowded airport arrivals area and in no mood to be exploring the finer points of TripIt right then. My info was not there where I expected it to be. I still think relegation to a completed trip makes insufficient allowance for late arrivals.
