Speaking about the subject, I still can't understand why people want to leave the terminal when they are flying F/J class rather than spending it at the Dubai lounges since I don't mind spending another 12 hours in the F lounge in Dubai.....
True, I had a residency visa issue a while ago because I'd been out of the country for more than 6 months (schoolboy error I know) so I booked a ticket I didn't intend to use that was due to go in the next 24 hours, then went airside into the lounge.

I think that's called working the system
