Hi all! I have some questions regarding a trip I will be taking to Anchorage on Memorial Day.

I live in LAS and had booked a flight to SEA prior to plans changing. The flights out of LAS are quite full that day. The UA flight I am currently booked on arrives in SEA at 8:40 pm. There is a UA flight that departs from SEA to ANC at 9:10 pm. I know that the N gates are fairly close together, but that is a really tight connection. Any advise on this would be appreciated.

Also on my return, it looks like I will need to fly Alaska on the ANC - SEA leg. I have never flown Alaska, so have no status with them. Is this going to be totally miserable? I am used to UA F class and am probably really spoiled. Any advise on how to make this better?
