The fact is, that banks, credit cards, hotels and airport Bureau de Changes shouldn't be allowed to charge any fee, commission or a ratio above and beyond the actual amount. All amounts must remain as they are posted by the books.
I recommend people go to Thailand and make their exchange transactions, then travel to their country of choice. Hahaha!
Otherwise call the cops on the banks and devalue their currencies. Euros are a junk currency and you will see banks charge even higher ratios for Euro transactions. Japan does.
