Here's the deal. I have a paid F-Class Ticket for this flight. The other person I am travelling with used his UAL miles for an Award Y Ticket. We were wondering what is the procedure at Aloha for Operational Upgrades (we know that these are extremely RARE but we are just exploring our options ). Will it help that I paid for an F-Ticket or that he is a Premier Executive with UAL? Is it better if we check in earlier or later? He is willing to pay an upgrade fee if Aloha offers this like HAL does, does AQ do the same? Any other tips you might have to help him get upgraded on this carrier?
