Browsing on airliners.net tonight, I came across this incredible picture of Windows running on a TFT LCD in the cockpit of the first Boeing 777-300ER. Judging by the arrangement of the cables, the use of a velcro loop, and the occulsion of analog instrumentation, the system is just in there (hopefully!) for prototyping, test and diagnostics use, but it's still a unique photograph that gives a sense of how prevalent commodity hardware and software is becoming, even in specialized settings. Look for the LCD in the bottom left hand section of the instrument panel --
