I had a horrible stay at the FS Marriott out by the airport this summer. It was only one night, but we were put into a small/dingy room, no recognition of Platinum status, etc. I did subsequently get an apology from their GM stating that it was a trainee oversight, but it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Had a fabulous stay at The Glasshouse for 5 nights, including an upgrade to a suite!

Cannot comment on the RI, we didn't even walk by it.

One thought - when does the new Edinburgh CY (which will be on the same block as the Glasshouse) open? It was being built this summer, but I have no clue how far away it is from opening.
