I was in a hotel last week and a taxi that was outside honked its horn, waking me up. I think that someone from the hotel had called the taxi. How much compensation should I look for?

Listen up: Fire alarms in hotels are a fact of life. Probably you should have to pay extra if the alarm doesn't go off at 4am.

Unless you can demonstrate the the alarm got pulled by the night desk clerk who was bored, the hotel owes you the same as does the airline when the guy next to you spends the entire flight cutting World Class farts.
