Had the same problem with Chase Marriott Visa. The credit bureau wouldn't do anything and advised me to contact Chase Bank. I even took the complaint to Chase Bank Ombudsman and they said I entered the incorrect info on the online application and they had to do another pull when I called in. They refused to remove it.
Very unfair. Hopefully Transunion will be more accepting than Equifax. I have had success removing a pull similar to this in the past.
