Generally, with these tailors in the private expat network, their labor prices are their labor prices, variation in materials price of course. You don't "bargain", at least not if you want to keep the relationship. Discounting may happen when a large volume is purchased or for an established customer. I actually don't find these prices out of line at all, in fact if the quality is as good as @Cdnblue says, they are quite decent prices. In the end, it's all about value-for-money, for the specific purpose and lifestyle one wants the clothes to fulfill. But as said above by @trueblu, a follow-up after a year to discuss how the clothes are holding up, would be great.
