Ok, so I signed up for a frequent flyer program and decided to go with Spirit Airlines because after using several search for flights leaving my home airport of Dallas Fort Worth this seemed like the best deals. I am aware of the carry-on fee, but this would exclude a backpack that could fit underneath my seat which lucky for me I travel light anyway.

Just wanting to get others thoughts on this. For the destinations I would be frequenting this seems the most cost effective. I also signed up for their credit card to earn even more points.

Also I was curious of the disparity of points in relation to money with Spirit Airlines curious if there is a way to calculate this.
