How long should it take....

for a phone res to go to email. I haven't called in a res in long, long time and had to today due to re-using canceled ticket. Got it booked fairly quickly but forgot to ask for record locator. It shows up on my trips but can't do anything with it yet. Also booked another flight on website and was doing some dummy bookings to look at seats and now on mobile it shows my ticketed one and the other as "on hold". Never seen this before. Business as usual or weird stuff happening today?
