Hit a bit of a problem with this. I've bought the extra online and it shows fine in MYB but no sign of any email receipt. When I go into MYB and ask it to resend the tax invoice I get this message:
"An error has occurred while trying to resend the tax invoice for the additional baggage booked with your flights"
Our QF flights were booked as Avios redemptions so maybe that is the issue but what can I do if Qantas won't send me the receipt they say I need!?
Maybe you should give Qantas a call to see if they can send it to you.
In all likelihood they do have the record but they sometimes ask to see the receipt because of system issues etc.
It's not that much more to pay at the airport for QF domestic excess baggage (AUD 40) although of course you don't want to pay twice.
However, if you have only just booked it, then don't worry too much. It's taken them up to 24 hours to send me the receipt (that's just for a normal booking made on QF website).
