I think there is a Mcdonalds 300-400 meters away, by the train station. And also a Carrefour supermarket close by.
Traffic can be horrid, but it depends when and where you are going. I've spent 3 hours going 6 km on a Friday evening rush hour. Mon-Fri, morning and evening rush hours are the worst.
Often if you're going the opposite direction, the traffic is fine. Some holidays you can even run into no traffic at all. You can can check out the Waze app to check on traffic.
