There are reports of people being denied with 1, or 2, or 3, or 4, or 5 new accounts. There are also many reports of people being approved with 1-5 new accounts. AFAIK, there are NO reports of anyone being approved with more than 5 new (non-AU) accounts. So most likely the 1-5 denials are based on something else than the new accounts. But
the hard and fast rule is no more than 5.
